Jump Technologies Accelerates Healthcare Business Solutions at AHRMM15

JumpTech (Booth 1026) Launches New InnerTrack™ Receiving Package Tracking Solution, Introduces Sophie Rutherford, New Vice President of Business Development

EAGAN, MN--(Marketwired - August 07, 2015) - Jump Technologies®, an innovative software company that provides cloud-based mobile solutions for inventory and supply management in hospitals, is announcing several new developments in their business for hospitals and healthcare organizations at AHRMM15, August 9-12, 2015, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jump Technologies is launching the new InnerTrack™ receiving and package tracking solution for hospitals. InnerTrack integrates with major carriers and offers smart workflow to significantly reduce staff time while improving visibility and electronically documenting the entire receiving process. With InnerTrack, hospital staff members have visibility to all supplies coming into the organization, from the moment they are received until they reach their final destination. Current users of InnerTrack are measuring considerable reductions in staff time and costs associated with previous receiving processes.

Jump Technologies is pleased to announce the appointment of Sophie Rutherford as vice president of Business Development. Rutherford will lead efforts to enable Jump Technologies to quickly and efficiently deliver inventory and supply management solutions to healthcare provider organizations. "I'm looking forward to bringing a smarter approach to hospitals," said Rutherford. "As provider organizations work to understand Cost, Quality and Outcomes, they're missing fundamental data elements needed to do so. With solutions from JumpTech, hospitals will have visibility to utilization information about the supplies purchased and used by their organization, helping to support their value analysis efforts."

On Monday, August 10, 2015, from 11:15 AM-12:15 PM, Matt Brennan, director of Supply & Logistics at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and co-recipient (with Jump Technologies) of a 2015 "100 Great Supply Chain Projects" award from Supply & Demand Chain Executive, will present a session titled "Lean Six Sigma Process for Inventory Management Drives Nursing Satisfaction and Supply Cost Reduction." This session will provide director-level supply chain professionals an overview of a joint project between the supply chain and ED nursing teams, as they came together in a Kaizen process to reinvent the way supplies were being managed in the ED. As a result of their efforts, a new business process and system was implemented, which increased nursing satisfaction from 10% with the old approach to 90% with the new process, reduced costs by eliminating cabinet rental fees and reducing overstocking, reduced stock-outs, and created a continual improvement process that supports the team's ongoing needs. This session provides an excellent example of clinical and supply chain collaboration.

JumpTech also invites AHRMM15 attendees to visit booth 1026 for a demo of the latest version of the JumpStock inventory management solution. JumpStock users reduce inventory and labor costs, stock-outs, supply hoarding, waste and maverick spending. JumpStock provides real-time visibility to accurate usage data for supplies across a provider organization, and uniquely supports any selected approach to supply management, including 2Bin, Par or limited access.

"With our team focused on delivering new cloud-based solutions to hospitals and healthcare organizations, and a proven ability to respond quickly and effectively to customer needs, JumpTech is excited to participate in this year's AHRMM event," said John Freund, CEO, Jump Technologies. "Since last year's conference, we've enhanced the capabilities of JumpStock and launched InnerTrack. Our commitment to helping hospitals and provider organizations improve their business processes and reduce costs is evident as we continue to deliver new solutions and functionality to healthcare."
