This yearlong compilation of online auto shopping trends and industry insights is gleaned from the company's portfolio of automotive sites that represent 18 million auto shoppers.   • Jumpstart holds the highest number of unique visitors among its competitive set, and moved from second place in 2013 to first place in 2014 in total pages viewed
  • Nearly 50% of Jumpstart's audience is on a smartphone or tablet, and 86% of that mobile audience visits its portfolio of sites exclusively from a mobile device

Share of Shopper Interest:

  • Trucks, SUVs, CUVs, and Vans saw the biggest gains in shopper interest in 2014 -- likely influenced by gas prices dipping to a four-year low
  • FIAT Chrysler Automobiles (FCA Group) had five of the top 10 brands in highest growth of shopper interest from 2013 to 2014

Regional Shopping Trends:

  • Seven of the West Coast's top 10 most-shopped vehicles were alternative fuel models
  • Domestic vehicles represented all of the top-shopped vehicles in the Midwest region
