Junex, Petrolia and Gastem Completes drilling at St-Simon

QUEBEC CITY, Nov. 9 - Junex (JNX: TSXV) and its partners,
Pétrolia (PEA: TSXV) and Gastem (GMR : TSXV), are pleased to announce the
completion of the re-entry drilling operation at their Shell St-Simon No.1
well (A152). A window was drilled in the pre-existing casing well at a depth
of 2,382 meters and the well was subsequently extended to a total depth of
2,580 meters.

The well data indicates that the natural gas zone originally identified
by Shell in 1969 had been encountered at a depth of 2,519 meters in the Black-
River dolomite formation. The well is currently in its self-cleaning phase
which consists of using the natural gas pressure accumulated into the well to
eject all the fluids injected into the formation during the course of
drilling. Following the self-cleaning process, Junex may perform an acid
stimulation of the gas zone in order to test the potential gas flow of the
well. The results of this test will be released following its completion.

The partners of the St-Simon project are Junex (80%), Gastem (10%) and
Petrolia (10%).
