Junior Farmers of Ontario attend GROWMARK Annual Meeting

KITCHENER, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 4, 2005) - Joe Dickenson of Sarnia and Barclay Nap of Moffat recently represented Ontario youth at GROWMARK's Annual Meeting in Chicago. Both men represent Junior Farmers' Association of Ontario.

Joe Dickenson is executive director of Fund Development for Junior Farmers Association of Ontario and Barclay Nap is president of the Junior Farmers Club in Halton and represents JFAO with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture.

The Junior Farmers' Association of Ontario is an organization for youth between the ages 15 and 29. Dickenson says, "Attending GROWMARK's Annual Meeting was an excellent opportunity to meet and share experiences with other young leaders in the United States and Ontario."

Each year, GROWMARK provides travel opportunities to six exemplary youth who have shown dedication to Ontario youth development. Chosen youth, travel to Chicago to learn more about the co-operative and network with GROWMARK business people and other young leaders. As part of their experience, Dickenson and Nap along with other Ontario youth from 4-H Ontario and the Ontario Co-operative Association Co-op Young Leaders Program, participated in the annual meeting's Grand Entry opening ceremonies.
