Justin Jowitt Joins Cadwalader as Partner

LONDON--(CCNMatthews - Aug 30, 2005) -

Justin Jowitt has joined Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP as a partner in the Global Finance Department, resident in the London office. He was formerly a lawyer in the Global Loans Department in the London office of Allen & Overy LLP.

Justin will focus on real estate finance, acting for investment and commercial banks on investment and development financings, including those originated for CMBS, in both the UK and Europe. Justin also represents borrowers and lenders in a wide variety of other transactions, including investment and non-investment grade syndicated and bilateral corporate credits, restructuring and leveraged acquisitions.

Justin obtained both his B.A. and B.C.L. from Lincoln College Oxford in 1992 and 1995, respectively. He trained at 7 King's Bench Walk, London from 1993 to 1994 and at 4 Pump Court, London from 1995 to 1996. He joined Allen & Overy LLP as an associate in London in 1997 and worked in both the Paris and London offices.
