Kalahari Adds Second Drill to 8000 Meter Drill Program on Lamaque Gold Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 16, 2010) - (KALAHARI RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:KLA) (The "Company") is pleased to announce the addition of a second drill to its 8000 meter diamond drill program on the Lamaque Gold Project in Val d'Or Quebec. The Company expects to release further updates on the drill program as work progresses along with assay results.

The results of this drill program, along with other drilling completed since the 2004 resource estimate, will be compiled and included in a resource update to be published prior to March, 2011.

The second drill was commissioned to verify the east and southeast extensions of the Sigma horizontal and vertical veins. Two holes ( SV-10-01 and SV-10-02 ) out of three intersected smokey quartz-tourmaline veins with 3 to 5% pyrite up to 7-10% and local chalcopyrite ( 3-5% ). The mineralized veins are hosted within intermediate to mafic volcanics (andesitic to basaltic composition) and vary in width between 0.3 to 4 meters approximately. Due to these interesting intersections, two additional ( 4 holes faned at -50 and -65 degrees) setups with 100meter step-outs will verify the lateral extensions of these new and encouraging intersections. The samples were sent to ALS-Chemex Lab in Val d' Or and results are pending.
