Kalahari Resources Inc.: Drilling Commences at Lamaque Property

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 27, 2006) - Kalahari Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:KLA) is pleased to announce the commencement of a 10,000 foot drilling program on the Company's Lamaque property in Val d'Or, Quebec. This program is the initial phase of an over all program that will test several new targets that have been defined as a result of a recently completed MMI Survey conducted by SGS Labs in Toronto, Ontario and a VTEM Survey conducted by Geotech Ltd. of Aurora, Ontario.

The MMI survey was interpreted by Dr. Mark Fedikow and reveals a particularly strong gold anomaly in the same vicinity of the former producing Lamaque Mine and the presently producing Sigma Mine which collectively have produced over 9 million ounces of gold. Drilling will commence with the testing of this new MMI gold anomaly.
