Kansas City "Mid-America" Chapter of the Knowledge Management Institute Established

KANSAS CITY, MO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 20, 2006 -- The recently established Kansas City "Mid-America" Chapter of the Knowledge Management Institute will hold its membership kickoff meetings on May 2-3. The chapter is the first Midwestern Chapter of KMI and the only U.S. chapter west of the Mississippi. The Knowledge Management Institute focuses on educating managers and leaders in the broad discipline of knowledge management.

The Kansas City chapter of the Knowledge Management Institute will be holding two chapter kickoff meetings on Tuesday, May 2nd from 6-8 pm. and on Wednesday, May 3rd from 12-2 pm. at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center, 4801 Rockhill Road, Kansas City, MO.

The featured speaker for these two meetings will be Douglas Weidner of the Knowledge Management Institute. Mr. Weidner is one of the world's foremost authorities on Knowledge Management. His topic will be "Demystifying Knowledge Management." Mr. Weidner will introduce you to some low/no-budget powerful practical techniques to improve your organization's knowledge processes.
