Kantar Health Names Susan Suponcic Head of Global Market Access

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 3, 2011) - Kantar Health, a leading healthcare-focused global consultancy and marketing insights company, has appointed Susan J. Suponcic, Ph.D., as Senior Vice President of Global Market Access. In this role, she will lead a global practice team who will assist pharmaceutical industry clients in incorporating, substantiating and implementing market access initiatives to capture the value of their innovations and ensure patient access globally.

Dr. Suponcic has more than 13 years of market access experience in both industry and consulting. She joins Kantar Health from Johnson & Johnson, where she held strategic roles in both pricing and health economics, led teams that carried out successful global launch implementations and helped shape the external environment to focus on the value of pharmaceutical innovation. At IMS Health, she led a thriving pharmaceutical pricing consulting practice.

Dr. Suponcic has a Ph.D. in Managerial Science and Applied Economics from The Wharton School and an M.Sc. in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
