Karen Colfer Named Vice President and Country General Manager, U.K. and Ireland, for Kelly Services(R)


LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Jun 8, 2015) - Kelly Services (NASDAQ: KELYA) (NASDAQ: KELYB) today announced that Karen Colfer has been promoted to Vice President and Country General Manager of the Company's operations in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Colfer is relocating back to England from Australia where she managed Kelly's operations in Australia and New Zealand for the last five years as Managing Director and Country General Manager.

An experienced recruitment professional, Colfer has more than 20 years of staffing industry experience in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. She joined Kelly Services in 2010 as Country General Manager in Australia and later became responsible for the Company's operations in New Zealand. A proven leader, Colfer distinguished herself as a results-driven leader expanding Kelly's market presence in Australia.

Prior to joining Kelly Services, Colfer held various executive leadership roles with Hudson, where she was sponsored by Morgan and Banks to relocate from the UK to Australia in 2000 to manage a large part of ANZ's recruitment business.

Originally from London, Colfer began her career as a Recruitment Consultant with REED Personnel Services in London. Over the next 10 years, she worked her way through the management ranks to the role of Senior Business Manager. 

While in Australia, she served on the board of directors for Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RSCA) from May 2013 to May 2015.
