Kasasa Poetry Challenge Calls on Consumers to Submit Creative Pieces for Future Ad Piece

Innovative Community Banking Brand Offering a Chance to Create a New Commercial

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - December 2, 2010) - Kasasa® (www.Kasasa.com), the community banking brand for those that want real choices with their money, has announced a competition to write a new advertisement for "Kasasa Giving," a free, high-interest checking account that benefits consumers financially and helps them make charitable giving a part of everyday life.

  • How? By writing a poem that will be performed by one of Kasasa's slam poets on TV and radio commercials. In 75 to 250 words, give a poetic interpretation of a Kasasa Giving account, and what it means to be able to get money to keep and to pay forward just for using your account.
  • What? Kasasa Giving is a free checking account that also supports three national charities: Stand Up to Cancer, American Humane Association, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
  • Why? A chance to win $500 and a $500 donation on your behalf to the Kasasa Charity partner of your choice.
