Kathleen M. Shanahan Appointed to TRC's Board of Directors


LOWELL, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 1, 2015) - TRC Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRR) announced today that Kathleen M. Shanahan, 55, has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Ms. Shanahan is Chair and Chief Executive Officer of URETEK Holdings, Inc., a Florida-based geotechnical company.

Ms. Shanahan joined URETEK in 2011. In the past four years, the company has tripled revenue and expanded operations from Florida to 31 states. In her distinguished career she has also held a number of high-profile positions, including CEO of a $200 million environmental remediation and civil construction company, consultant to New York Stock Exchange CEO John Thain, and chief of staff to Florida Governor Jeb Bush. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA from New York University.
