Kathleen Scranton Joins the New American Castle as Design Consultant

MIDDLEFIELD, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 14, 2005 -- Connecticut artist and Creative Director Kathleen Scranton is hard at work creating a magnificent "fit for a king and queen" interior for the luxury show home The New American Castle. Kathleen, formerly Director of Creative Services for Laticrete International, is an artist with extensive credentials in the field of tile, stone and mosaic design.

Thanks to Kathleen's skill and attention to detail, the Castle's interior is now awash with color and texture making every room a masterpiece. Kathleen first came to us as Creative Director for Laticrete International, a major partner in the show home project. She recommended the Residential Solutions System of products to assure a trouble free installation for all the stone, tile and glass mosaics being installed. Kathleen brings with her a wealth of knowledge of the tile installation industry as well as many high profile industry contacts. Tile, stone and glass mosaics from such outstanding companies as Innovative Stone, Saicis, Bisazza, Villiglas, Vitrus, Impronta Graniti, and Eliane are just a few of the manufacturers featured in this unusual home. Laticrete International's comprehensive line of grout, adhesives and waterproofing products are being utilized on all of the Castle's tiled floors. "The Residential Solution system features a lifetime warranty, innovative products that inhibit the growth of stain causing bacteria, mold and mildew with Microban r antimicrobial product protection and the revolutionary SpectraLOCK PRO Grout, the grout that locks in color and blocks out stains," explained Kathleen. "The Laticrete system was the ideal choice for this project. I am so glad Patricia called us first!" Kathleen added.

"Kathleen is a terrific person to work with -- an enthusiastic team player who really knows the technical side of building and design as well as the finer elements and aesthetics," explains General Contractor and Owner Kim Baker.
