Kaub Joins Parsons as Vice President of Market Development

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - January 19, 2011) - Parsons is pleased to announce that Brian C. Kaub has joined the firm as Vice President of Market Development for its Transportation Group. In this role, Mr. Kaub will be responsible for supporting marketing, teaming, estimating, and proposals for many of Parsons' major transportation project pursuits.

Mr. Kaub has been in heavy construction operations for more than 30 years, beginning as a field engineer and moving quickly into managerial positions. He has a wealth of experience from the field, operations, and management perspectives. Prior to joining Parsons, Mr. Kaub worked for one of the nation's top four heavy civil contractors. He managed the team on 15 projects worth $3.3 billion during his 16-year tenure with the company, including the John James Audubon Bridge Project, the St. Louis I-64 Project, and the Hiawatha Light Rail Transit Project. Most recently he served as the company's Director of Business Development.

Mr. Kaub is a registered professional engineer. He has served as President of the American Society of Civil Engineers' Construction Institute. He is active in the Associated General Contractors, and both the Moles and the Beavers construction associations, as well as the American Segmental Bridge Institute and the Design-Build Institute of America. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Michigan Tech University. He is based in California.
