kCentric Technologies Inc. Receives Financial Support from Government of Canada to Boost Sales in U.S.

LAVAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 30, 2011) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announced the granting of $75,000 in repayable funding to kCentric Technologies Inc. for the implementation of a commercialization strategy that will enable the firm to increase its sales on the United States market.

"Economic prosperity rests on the innovativeness and competitiveness of our enterprises. That is why the Government of Canada is pleased lend its support to kCentric Technologies, which is pulling out all the stops to make gains in these areas," said Minister Lebel.

Since 2005, the Laval firm has been offering an electronic business solution known as k-eCommerce. This turnkey solution easily integrates into enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, allows for the customization of Web sites and offers Web hosting and computer support services.

In recent years, kCentric Technologies has experienced significant sales growth in Canada. The company is now looking to increase its presence on the U.S. market through a range of activities, including producing promotional materials, conducting on-site prospecting missions and forging strategic partnerships.

This financial assistance has been granted through Canada Economic Development's Business and Regional Growth program. The project bring carried out by kCentric Technologies will help strengthen and stimulate the growth of the information and communications technology sector, a priority for Laval, the Laurentians and Lanaudière.
