Keek Continues Global Growth With Expansion Plans in Asia Names Jonathan Dillon as VP of Business Development, China

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - September 10, 2014) - Keek Inc. (TSX VENTURE: KEK) (OTCQX: KEEKF) announced today that it has named Jonathan Dillon as VP of Business Development, China, as part of the expansion of its Asia-Pacific strategy. Keek currently has over 69M members worldwide, 25% of which are based in the Asia-Oceana region. Dillon will represent the Keek brand by developing key relationships and leading the efforts in identifying and securing marketing and content partners in the Chinese market, which will include major internet, telecom, and media companies in the region. This hire is a continuation of Keek's global growth strategy and follows key recent hires including Iain Wilson as VP, EU Business Development and Keek's first advertising campaign in the Middle East in partnership with Saudi Telecom and Starcom MediaVest. Dillon will report to Keek CMO Lin Dai.

Dillon previously was Head of International for Baidu, the leading search engine company in China. He was responsible for strategizing and managing Baidu's growth globally, including M&A and strategic partnerships across Latin America, South East Asia, and the Middle East, with a focus on developing strategy, product, local operations and investment opportunities. "Asia is one of the most exciting parts of Keek's global story, and the opportunity in China is immeasurable. The growth trajectory for mobile-video social sharing in China is explosive as technological conditions mature and 4G penetration takes root," said Lin Dai, Keek CMO. "The opportunity for Keek as the largest independent global player in the mobile-video social network space is enormous. Jonathan is a leader with extensive experience and connections in the Chinese market to develop the right partnerships that can super-charge Keek's growth. I can't wait for Keek to be the video app of choice for over 1.3 billion people in China."

Dillon said: "Keek has seen impressive and diversified growth globally under its new management team. I'm excited to join a team of stellar executives who are aggressively looking to deepen Keek's penetration in existing markets, and enter new ones. With mobile adoption and usage rates like we have rarely seen before in the West, China is an ideal market for Keek's mobile-video social sharing product, for consumers and marketers alike."

Dillon is the Founder of ad2china LLC, an innovative digital advertising company based in San Francisco and Beijing that strategizes and manages online marketing campaigns and strategic partnerships for Western companies looking to penetrate the China market. Dillon is also a Board advisor to numerous US and European internet and digital media companies and advises institutional investors on the China market.
