Keek Premieres 'Discovered,' the Mobile Video Network's First 'Keekisode' Series

New Docudrama Follows Hollywood Up-and-Coming Talent on the Road to Success

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - October 15, 2014) - Keek Inc. (TSX VENTURE: KEK) (OTCQX: KEEKF) announced today that it has launched its first Keekisode series, Discovered.  Discovered is shot in the Hollywood Hills where six actors, musicians, models and a DJ live together in a house called the Farm. The group is trying to "make it" in the highly competitive entertainment industry. This marks the first time a docudrama is delivered to the audience as a series of 36 second or less episodes. The series was created and produced by Jared Battaglia, best known for his writing on the Emmy-winning Clouds Over Cuba interactive documentary for the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum.

Discovered is seen through the eyes of ingénue Remi Webb, an aspiring actress invited to live at the Farm after getting discovered on Keek. Viewers will watch as Remi goes from "girl-next-door" to a full-fledged Hollywood "It Girl." The episodes appear on Keek and exciting storylines gradually unfold about the young "up and coming" stars. Discovered can be viewed here: https://www.keek.com/profile/discovered

"Mobile video consumption accounts for an ever greater portion of overall digital life amongst teens and young adults," said Keek CMO Lin Dai. "At Keek we make it our mission to support content creators and innovations in the short video medium. Discovered is a great example of what creators can do with a 36 second canvas. This is the first major series on our original programming slate. We are confident the series will not only entertain fans, but will also inspire more real-life talent to share their stories and to be 'discovered' on the Keek platform."

"We are so excited to partner with Keek because it is exploding with enticing creative content," said Battaglia. "Keek's most popular hashtag, '#discoverme,' provided our team with the inspiration behind the series and our aspirational characters that are similar to the young talent being discovered on the Keek platform."

"This is the perfect demonstration of short-form storytelling," said Keek CEO Alex Cameron. "36 seconds at a time is engaging and will drive viewers to watch multiple videos per session. The 'Keekisode' is a unique and native format to Keek. As the format matures, the right type of brand integration will be added within the content and will enhance the user experience further, rather than disrupt it."

The Discovered series premiere is part of Keek's greater original content strategy, following the recent announcement to co-develop short-form content with Relativity, and the board director appointment of veteran Hollywood producer and power player Michael Rotenberg of 3 Arts Entertainment.
