Keeper Password Manager Launches Latest iOS 9 Version

Includes Support for Shared Folders, 3D Touch and Quick Action

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - December 09, 2015) - Keeper, the world's most popular mobile security app for managing passwords and private information, just announced a new Keeper version for iOS 9. The latest update, Keeper 9.0, includes support for shared folders, plus enhancements for iPhone 6 such as 3D Touch and Quick Actions.

Users of Apple's iOS 9 can now quickly and securely share folders of their sensitive and personal data including passwords, files, photos and videos, with loved ones and groups. Shared folders works with Keeper's existing vault-to-vault sharing features on individual stored records. Users also will find enhancements for 3D Touch and Quick Actions to let them do the things they do most often, faster and in fewer steps. Many of these actions can be done with one tap, right from the Home screen.

The shared folder feature allows users to create an unlimited number of shared folders and assign users to specific folders. Users can be granted record management and user management permissions. Records can be added to multiple shared folders providing access to the encrypted files. Individual records within each folder can also be assigned read/write and re-sharing permissions.

"This is great news for families that want to share important documents and personal photos, identity cards and medical records," said Craig Lurey, CTO and co-founder of Keeper Security, Inc. "We are ecstatic to provide them this functionality so their experience with Keeper is even more seamless and secure."

Other features iOS 9 users can expect include a high-strength password generator, Keeper DNA™ multi-factor authentication, instant syncing between devices, login with Touch ID, auto logout timer for theft protection and unlimited backups. Keeper utilizes AES-256 encryption and a Zero-knowledge security architecture that is TRUSTe and SOC-2 certified.
