WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Dec 3, 2013) - Keesing Technologies, a subsidiary of Hologram Industries, global leaders in optical and digital authentication tools and systems, announced an agreement has been finalized with ID Scientific (IDS). The largest content holder of North American driver's licenses is to be sold and integrated into the Keesing's digital authentication portfolio.
Keesing is the owner of the world's most comprehensive library of ID documents. With the addition of the driver's licenses to its library, the company further enhances its position of being the largest and most authoritative source of identity documents in the world. The integration of North American content provides Keesing's customers and many other organizations with a unique capability to authenticate identity documents per the legal and/or regulatory mandates of E-Verify, HSPD-12 (SP 800-79), and the U.S. Passport, as well as any other requirements whereby governments and organizations are required to authenticate the identity documents presented by individuals.
Keesing also opens a new subsidiary to focus on commercial development opportunities in the Americas. Mike Krechting, Managing Director of Keesing, states: "It has been a long standing goal to have this subsidiary. With our current portfolio of market-leading brands, the new subsidiary and our focus on innovation, we will be able to better serve the needs of the North American market and we will have a much stronger presence in the region. Keesing has now paved the way for further expansion and growth in the North American market."
To be based in the Washington DC area, the new subsidiary represents a commitment by Keesing and its parent company, Hologram Industries, to support key customers, associations and partners in the region. Patrick W. Hearn has been appointed as CEO of Keesing America Inc. "A new era of document authentication is now available in North America," Hearn stated. "Through the combination of our global content and the integration of software and hardware, organizations will now be able to confidently and quickly rely on international expertise with a locally based business partner. This is the first of many steps by Keesing in this region."
