Keiretsu Forum Angel Investors and the Office of Economic Development at the City of Berkeley, CA Announce Third EUREKA! Event

San Francisco, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 29, 2013) -  Keiretsu Forum, the world's largest private equity angel investment network, the City of Berkeley's Office of Economic Development and the Berkeley Startup Cluster announce the third EUREKA! event on Monday, October 7th from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The David Brower Center, 2150 Allston Way in Berkeley, California.

EUREKA! is an evening of networking and mentoring from angel investors to early stage Berkeley entrepreneurs. Ten startups will present to a panel of Keiretsu Forum angel investor members. Entrepreneurs will give a two-minute core presentation, followed by a four-minute Q&A session, and a four-minute feedback and resource exchange.

"Providing information and resources to the entrepreneurial community is as important as providing capital," said Randy Williams, Founder & CEO of Keiretsu Forum. "This event is a great opportunity for early stage entrepreneurs in Berkeley to gain valuable feedback from the angel investor's perspective and help them develop their creative ideas into investable business opportunities."

"We look forward to fostering innovation and establishing valuable relationships that contribute to sustainable economic development in Berkeley and the East Bay," said Michael Caplan, Economic Development Manager at City of Berkeley.

The EUREKA! events are co-organized by Keiretsu Forum and the City of Berkeley's Office of Economic Development. The October 7th event is produced with support from Berkeley Startup Cluster and the Kairos Society. Investors and entrepreneurs interested in attending may register online. Entrepreneurs interested in presenting at the event can apply online by September 19th. There is no fee to present.
