SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 10, 2006 -- Keiretsu Forum, the nation's largest angel investor network, today announced that Matthew C. Le Merle will join as Co-President of its San Francisco chapter.

Matthew C. Le Merle has more than 20 years experience as a management consultant and corporate executive with McKinsey & Company, A.T. Kearney, Monitor Group, and Gap Inc., where he was senior vice president for strategy and business development and senior Vice President Gap global marketing. Matthew is currently involved in three leading gaming companies: He is President of Gameplay Holdings LLC, Chairman of Telltale Inc., and a director of QB International. Matthew is an active angel investor focusing on the consumer, entertainment and high technology industries.

"I am excited to join Keiretsu Forum in this capacity as it continues to shape angel investing both here in the United States and internationally," said Matthew. "We have seen an increasing need for individual investors to participate in closing the funding gap in early stage investing, and I have been impressed by the way that Keiretsu members bring their capital and active involvement to help entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses. From my first meeting as a San Francisco member, I was motivated to find a way to help Keiretsu grow and am pleased that Colin Wiel has given me this opportunity. I encourage others with interest to observe a Keiretsu Forum meeting either in San Francisco or any of the other chapters."

"I am extremely excited to have Matthew join me as Co-President of the San Francisco chapter," said Colin Wiel. "We have worked together over the last few months and I have seen Matthew help companies achieve milestones. I know that he will be of great value to our members and portfolio companies."

"We are very proud of the momentum gained by our new San Francisco Chapter," said Randy Williams, founder and CEO of Keiretsu Forum. "Colin Wiel has done an exceptional job of launching San Francisco and in just the last year the members of this new chapter have participated in funding more than $18 million in 19 promising early stage companies and a number of real estate funds and projects. We have very high aspirations for Keiretsu Forum worldwide and will be making more announcements about our plans for further building the world's largest and strongest angel investor community and private equity funding network. Matthew will bring important experiences and skills to that endeavor."
