KEMA Adds Strategic New Hires to Sustainable Use Consulting Practice

Leading Experts to Help Utility Clients Evaluate Energy Efficiency Programs and Gain Deeper Understanding of Customer Segments

BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - Jul 26, 2011) - KEMA, a leading authority in energy consulting, testing, and certification, has enhanced the expertise of its Sustainable Use consulting team with four new hires. These new hires enable KEMA to continue to provide market-leading support for energy efficiency program evaluation, load analysis, and utility customer research. They also allow KEMA to create more services to help utility and other industry stakeholders develop strategies for demand response programs, resource planning, and end-use products and services.

KEMA's new consulting experts include:

She was also with IHS Global Insight for 12 years, where she advanced through positions of increasing responsibility for the consulting division and eventually served as managing director of operations.

  • Joseph S. Lopes brings over 30 years of technical and management experience in mathematics, statistics, and database and software systems. He has an extensive background in project management, load research, measurement and verification (M&V) systems, demand response analysis, energy efficiency and technology studies, economic analysis, and rate/regulatory issues. Before joining KEMA, he consulted for U.S. and international utility and government clients through Lopes Consulting Services and Applied Energy Group, Inc. where he was one of the founding partners.
