KEMA to Hold 21st Executive Forum on Retail Energy

Key Industry Leaders to Address Innovation, Policy & Customer Choice in the Competitive Energy Sector

BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - December 17, 2009) - As the leading event in the US retail energy industry, KEMA's Executive Forum will gather senior executives, regulators, energy buyers, investors and other stakeholders from across North America to discuss the key business and policy issues facing retail energy markets. This year's event will focus on the resurgence of retail competition following the financial crisis and on the rapid evolution of technology and commercial innovation in smart energy.

With the theme "Change through Choice," the 21st Executive Forum will be held March 30 and 31, 2010 at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Irving, Texas.

"Driven by changing policies and economics, the U.S. is, like several other countries, undergoing an enormous build out of a more modern energy infrastructure," stated Thijs Aarten, Executive Director of KEMA, NV. "In this complex environment, the role of and impact upon retail customers is not always understood and is often not fully addressed. KEMA's Executive Forum provides industry leaders with a venue to address the challenges and opportunities that are created by the intersection of industry modernization, competition and the potentially dramatic changes facing energy customers."

The Forum will feature more than 40 senior executives and key stakeholders in over a dozen sessions ranging from "Smart Energy: Products, Adoption and Impacts in the Mass Market" to "Wholesale Markets and The Retail Business" to "Growth Through Innovation." Information about the Forum, including the agenda and registration, is available at www.kema.com/21st-executive-forum.
