KEMP Appoints Jeff Fisher as VP of Strategic Alliances

Reaffirms Commitment to Expanding Its Technology Partnerships

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 10, 2014) - KEMP Technologies today announces that Jeff Fisher has joined the organization in the role of Vice President of Strategic Alliances.

"Jeff joins KEMP at a time when we are having significant market interest from technology alliance partners in working with us," said Ray Downes CEO, KEMP Technologies. "It's obvious to us that this is a direct result of our software-centric approach to application delivery, which is a key enabler of today's rapidly evolving software-defined networking solutions. Jeff brings vast experience from many leading enterprise software companies, and the relationships his team will develop are core to our continued growth strategy."

With a strong engineering and business development background, Jeff brings over 20 years' experience with him to KEMP, most recently as VP of Emerging Technologies at RES Software. Prior to that, he was VP of Strategy at Desktone (acquired by VMware), where he designed and executed a multi-year market development strategy, establishing the company as a globally recognized leader in Desktops as a Service (DaaS). Prior to Desktone, Jeff held the positions of Senior Business Development Manager at Microsoft and Director of Business Development at Softricity (acquired by Microsoft), where he built and managed an alliance with Microsoft that ultimately led to acquisition. He also worked in sales engineering roles at Citrix Systems and NETLAN earlier in his career. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Business School.

"I'm thrilled to join the KEMP team at this promising time when the networking landscape is undergoing a tremendous shift toward software-based and virtualized solutions. It's clear that the accelerating investment in unified computing platforms like Cisco UCS, HP Moonshot and software-defined networking platforms like HP VAN and VMware NSX are already having an impact on how networking functions are deployed in both the enterprise and at service providers. Based on its strong history and commitment to a flexible, software-centric approach to application delivery and load balancing, KEMP is uniquely positioned to take advantage of these trends and we are ready, willing and able to partner with likeminded ecosystem players. I look forward to expanding our existing technology alliances and forging new ones."

KEMP has active strategic partnerships with several global technology providers including Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, VMware, HP, Oracle and Fujitsu. The synergistic relationships with these technology partners allow KEMP to offer more comprehensive products and solutions for our customers.
