Kenergy Scientific, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: KNSCD) Healthcare Progress Report

FLEMINGTON, NJ--(Marketwire - Jul 5, 2011) - Ken Glynn, President and CEO of GreenSmart Stores and Kenergy Scientific, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: KNSCD), today reported the status of various healthcare division projects:

(1) Pending healthcare-related patent applications pertaining to (a) the heart rate-temperature monitoring cell phones and to (b) the biodegradable seaweed active skin simulation bandages, remain pending, without review by the US Patent Office (Application pendency at the Patent Office is more than three years before a first Office Action review).

(2) The issued cancer drug delivery patent, US Patent No. 7,637,889 B2 and its pending counterpart remain available for licensing or acquisition. In view of the early retirement of the chief engineer handling this possible acquisition at a Fortune 500 pharma company, a brief history and the issued patent have recently been resubmitted to the successor group at that company for reconsideration.

(3) Dr. Alain Martin and Ken Glynn will meet today to finalize details on the drafted-about to be filed patent application involving the combined use of Ken's biodegradable bandages and Dr. Martin's additional actives. The proposal is for the application to be filed within the next week and that it will be co-owned by both Kenergy Scientific, Inc. and Dr. Martin's company, Northcell Pharmaceutical, Inc. Dr. Martin is the inventor of the antibacterial enhanced Neosporin and the enhanced Listerine formulas.

(4) Another invention by Ken Glynn and Dr. Alain Martin that is still being considered involves medication for reducing risk of death from lung pulmonary embolisms for patients who have clots or high risk of clotting. This will be another cooperative effort between Kenergy Scientific, Inc. and one of Dr. Martin's companies.

(5) Kenergy is in the process of negotiating a controlling interest in a monodose drug delivery system at no cash/no stock cost (services for a significant interest). If successful, this will enhance the company's drug delivery system portfolio.

Ken also indicated that the new GreenSmart Store scheduled to open shortly in Flemington, NJ will carry more than 220 items. The products at the store will include the various solar powered and solar recharger products, the green clothing lines, recycled cotton products, high efficiency lamps and related lighting products and battery-powered alternative transportation. Additionally, craft and art products made with recycled materials will also be included. Ken stated, "Please visit us at to view some of our exciting new products."
