Kenexa Adds Learning Management Solution to Global Talent Retention Offerings

Kenexa Learning Management Enables Customers to Execute Integrated Talent Management From a Single Trusted Vendor

WAYNE, PA--(Marketwire - September 10, 2008) - Kenexa® (NASDAQ: KNXA), a global provider of talent acquisition and retention solutions, today announced the release of its newest product, a learning management system. Kenexa Learning Management (KLM) further expands Kenexa's global talent management offerings and enables customers to rely on the company as a single source of recruiting, onboarding, assessment, learning, performance, career development, succession planning and employee lifecycle survey solutions.

KLM delivers comprehensive learning management, analysis, creation and collaboration capabilities in an easy-to-use, personalized browser environment. With KLM, learning administrators can create and manage complete catalogs of learning courses, curricula and tests across the entire enterprise. KLM supports effective compliance with organization-required training by tracking learner eligibility and course completions with powerful notification and escalation capabilities.

Ron Hanscome, vice president of product strategy, Kenexa, commented, "KLM helps companies manage training costs, accounts and resources globally, which optimizes the cost-effective delivery of learning. The solution leverages enterprise competencies and skills, which increases the effectiveness of integrated talent management across recruiting, performance management, learning, career development and succession planning."

Other KLM functionality includes standard and ad-hoc reporting that supports decision-support analysis, including course completion patterns, critical learning gaps, and certification compliance. Powerful configuration tools enable the tailored delivery of learning management processes by division, business unit or geography. Consistent with all Kenexa offerings, KLM supports multiple languages according to locale and user preference.

Hanscome continued, "Many customers consider Kenexa to be their trusted advisor on talent management strategies and issues. These customer partners indicated to us a strong desire to incorporate learning into their talent management strategies and business processes, and asked us to deliver this capability. Leveraging this significant customer interest, Kenexa licensed code from a global learning management system vendor to form the basis of KLM. We are currently executing a plan to extend application capabilities and integrate KLM into the entire Kenexa integrated talent management suite."

"Today's learning & development organization plays a critical role in talent management," said Josh Bersin, president of Bersin & Associates, a leading research and advisory services firm focused on enterprise learning and talent management. "Programs for leadership and career development, competency-based learning, professional development, and coaching are pivotal elements of any sound talent management strategy. As a result, learning management systems are no longer standalone platforms solely for training administration. The learning management system(LMS) is now a core HR system that must integrate tightly with an organization's systems for performance management, succession management, career development and learning on-demand. By adding an integrated LMS to its talent management platform, Kenexa now offers a complete talent management platform that can help organizations manage, measure and focus learning investments as part of a comprehensive talent management strategy."

Available now, KLM can be delivered via either software-as-a-service (SaaS) or on-premise (behind the firewall.) More information can be accessed at http://www.kenexa.com/Solutions/TalentManagement/LearningManagement.aspx
