Kenexa Connect '08 Customer Conference Receives High Marks From Attendees

Yearly Event Fosters Innovative Exchange Between Kenexa and Its Customers; Educational Sessions Included Recruiting, Engaging the Employee, Corporate Social Responsibility and Web 2.0 Topics

WAYNE, PA--(Marketwire - September 17, 2008) - Kenexa® (NASDAQ: KNXA), a global provider of talent acquisition and retention solutions, shared details of its recent customer conference, which was held in Minneapolis from September 9 through September 12.

Designed to provide attendees with innovative approaches to managing global talent initiatives as well as practical insights into maximizing product investments, the event drew hundreds of Kenexa customers from around the world. Entitled "Connect '08," the event opened with a keynote presentation by Peter Cappelli, George W. Taylor Professor of Management at The Wharton School and Director of Wharton's Center for Human Resources. Cappelli spoke on the topic of "Talent on Demand: Managing Talent in an Age of Uncertainty." Over the course of the next three days, conference participants attended sessions on topics ranging from talent management, the use of global assessments, corporate social responsibility, employment branding, recruiting, employee engagement, expatriate management, employee referral programs and diversity.

Standing room only sessions included Kenexa's coverage of Web 2.0 topics, such as "Testing Generation Wii: The Future of Online Assessment for Selection and Development" and "Sourcing and Networking: The Takeover of Web 2.0" and "The CEO Shift" presented by Tommy Weir, Ph.D., head of learning and development at Dubai-based Nakheel.

Bill Kutik, technology columnist for Human Resource Executive magazine, conference co-chair of the HR Technology Conference and host of "The Bill Kutik Radio Show," moderated an industry analyst panel that included Elaine Orler, Knowledge Infusion; Josh Bersin, Bersin & Associates; Al Adamsen, Kenexa; and Karen Beaman, Jeitosa. Armed with their toughest talent management questions, attendees asked panelists for valuable "how to" information to address global workforce and HR technology challenges. Session feedback was very positive, as attendees applauded the ability to gain ready access to these thought leaders in one forum.

The opening evening's social event featured "the best of the Beatles recreations" from the Broadway hit show "Beatlemania." Before the entertainment started, Kenexa was presented with an impromptu award by Larry Kleinman, vice president and chief human resource officer from Providence Health & Services in recognition of the company's commitment to exemplary customer care.
