Kenexa Supports the Candidate Experience Awards as Platinum Level Sponsor

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 6, 2012) -  The Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today announced that Kenexa (NASDAQ: KNXA), a global provider of business solutions for human resources, will support the 2012 Candidate Experience Awards (CandEs) as the sole platinum-level sponsor for the recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) category. As more employers recognize the benefits of providing a more visible and efficient experience for job seekers, Kenexa has partnered with the CandEs to recognize those companies that display an exceptional candidate experience.

"Kenexa fully subscribes to the idea that business is personal and this is especially true regarding the candidate experience, which is an individual's first entry point into an organization," said Rudy Karsan, CEO of Kenexa. "We believe that attracting the right talent is just as important to developing and protecting employment brand as providing candidates with a transparent and user-friendly application process. Kenexa works with employers to optimize their workforces and enhance their candidate experience by equipping them with the technology, and social and mobile strategies that help them attract talent and meet candidates' expectations."

"The goal of the Candidate Experience Awards is to honor companies that understand the importance of regular and effective communication with candidates at all stages of the recruiting, screening and hiring process, and provide them a positive experience," commented Elaine Orler, Talent Board chairman and founder and president of Talent Function Group. "Kenexa understands the importance of candidate experience for both the employer and candidate, evident in their recruiting technology, talent assessments and RPO services. That Talent Board is honored and excited to have Kenexa as a Platinum sponsor as we collaborate on the importance of treating job seekers with respect and helping employers effectively identify and engage the right talent."

Founded by the industry's leading authorities on candidate experience, the CandEs are designed to recognize organizations that produce outstanding candidate experiences. The program consists of three survey rounds that capture and evaluate employers' recruitment processes and practices through the entire recruitment cycle and candidate experience. The first round is now closed for North American employers, with a record number of companies participating, each contending to validate that they care about their candidates. During the second round, candidates from competing companies are surveyed on their impressions as a job seeker.

Companies that meet criteria for both rounds one and two will be awarded a "CandE Award Winner" designation stamp. High scoring companies will be advanced to the final round, where they will be interviewed by the CandE judging panel to determine areas of distinction. All organizations that have completed first round submissions will receive a complimentary candidate experience Employer Benchmarking Report.

Kenexa, and the program's other sponsors, will help the Talent Board honor all North American CandE winners during a special reception at the 2012 HR Technology Conference in Chicago this October.
