Kenneth C. Lerner Has Joined the Investment Banking Firm of Leerink Swann & Company as Managing Director and Head of Biotechnology Investment Banking

BOSTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 29, 2005 -- Leerink Swann & Company announced today that Kenneth C. Lerner has joined the firm as Managing Director and Head of Biotechnology Investment Banking. Prior to joining Leerink Swann, Mr. Lerner was Managing Director and Head of Life Sciences Investment Banking at Harris Nesbitt. Prior to that, he was a senior investment banker covering the life sciences industry for Prudential Vector Healthcare Group and Vector Securities. In his seventeen years in investment banking, Mr. Lerner has completed over 75 financial advisory assignments and raised over $10 billion in debt and equity capital in the public and private markets for corporate clients.
