Kentucky Wesleyan College Selects Three Rivers Systems' CAMS Enterprise as Its Higher Education ERP System

KWC Plans to Use the Software to Increase Enrollment and Improve Retention Rates

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - February 25, 2015) - Kentucky Wesleyan College (KWC), a four-year liberal arts college located in Owensboro, Kentucky, has selected Three Rivers Systems' CAMS Enterprise as its new enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. A United Methodist-related institution founded in 1858, KWC offers 31 majors and 13 pre-professional curriculums and holds the distinction of winning the most national championships in men's basketball by a Division II school.

According to Dr. Paula Dehn, Vice President of Academic Affairs, "We're executing a long-term plan to strengthen our institution and have set ambitious goals to increase enrollment and improve our retention rates. In pursuit of these objectives, we want to provide our faculty, staff and students with the information they need to make data-driven decisions. CAMS Enterprise will provide us with these capabilities and will help us achieve these institutional goals."

Dr. Dehn cited several distinctive features of the CAMS Enterprise software that made it KWC's top choice. "Its Student Risk 360 module will help us proactively identify and intervene with at-risk students while there's still time to turn them around. Its Degree Audit module will provide our students with a clear understanding of what they need to do to progress towards graduation. And its built-in business analytics will help us track our progress toward meeting institutional goals and will provide us with the ability to drill down deeper into the data for improved analysis and decision-making."

Amir Tajkarimi, Founder and President of Three Rivers Systems, welcomed KWC to the CAMS Community. "Kentucky Wesleyan College is clearly committed to the success of its students and continuously seeks to improve student learning, residential life, undergraduate research, access to technology, and service to the community. For more than 150 years it has served students in the liberal arts tradition by preparing them intellectually, spiritually and physically to achieve success in life. We're excited to become a partner with KWC to help it achieve its objectives of growth and excellence."

Tajkarimi noted that several other United Methodist-related institutions use CAMS Enterprise as their ERP system, including Alaska Pacific University, Iowa Wesleyan College, Louisburg College, and Spartanburg Methodist College.
