Transforming Industry Through New Processes and Technology

PORTLAND, ME--(Marketwire - Jan 31, 2012) -

Tony Paine, President and CEO of Kepware Technologies and Aaron Green and Carlos Neto with the City of Orlando Wastewater Systems Management.

"Enabling Connectivity with OPC UA," a case study showcasing The Eastern Regional Reclaim Water Distribution System (ERRWDS), a joint project between the City of Orlando and Orange County that provides reclaim water to many commercial and residential customers in the region through a distribution system that circles Central Florida. The case will present the challenge of collecting data -- pump status, valve positions, flows, tank levels, pressures -- from diverse SCADA systems at four pump stations and the successful transmission of that data to a central HMI screen via KEPServerEX with both OPC DA and UA drivers.
