Kerio Announces Appointment of Steven Weinberg as Vice President of Legal Affairs

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - May 13, 2008) - Kerio Technologies, Inc., a provider of award-winning Internet security and messaging software, today announced the appointment of Steven Weinberg as the company's new vice president of Legal Affairs. Mr. Weinberg brings more than 15 years of operations and management experience in a large international organization and 8 years of legal experience advising global corporate clients in M&A, transactional, employment and corporate practice. He will be responsible for corporate governance and all legal matters of the company worldwide. Based in Kerio's headquarters in San Jose, California, Mr. Weinberg will also direct the legal affairs for Kerio's global offices located in Cambridge, England; Pilsen, Czech Republic and Moscow, Russia. With his international legal expertise, Mr. Weinberg will play an integral part in growing Kerio's global partnership network which currently consists of 500 business partners in 80 countries.

Most recently, Mr. Weinberg was an associate at the San Francisco office of an international law firm where he counseled clients on international human resources issues, global transactions, and privacy and data protection. Immediately prior to that experience, he was a member of the Silicon Valley office of another international law firm, where he focused on corporate issues for emerging technology companies. His previous experience also includes membership in one of the largest law firms in Asia, handling foreign investment, corporate and employment matters.

Mr. Weinberg holds a JD from The Catholic University of America, School of Law and earned a BA in History and Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
