Kevin Michael Unveils Major Tour; Acclaimed New R&B Sensation to Support Lily Allen and Maroon 5 Through October; Dates Herald Release of Self-Titled Debut Album, Due in Stores on September

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - July 16, 2007) - Downtown/Atlantic recording artist Kevin Michael has announced a series of tour dates surrounding the upcoming release of his self-titled debut album. "KEVIN MICHAEL" -- which features the breakthrough first single, "It Don't Make Any Difference To Me (Feat. Wyclef Jean)" -- arrives in stores on September 18th.

Named one of mtvU's "Freshman 5" new artists of the summer, Michael will herald the album's release by joining British pop heroine Lily Allen for a number of shows, kicking off on September 6th at San Diego's House of Blues (see itinerary below). In October, the singer/songwriter, who is based in Chester, PA (outside of Philadelphia), will accompany Maroon 5 on their eagerly anticipated fall arena tour, with dates beginning on October 15th at Boston's TD Bank North Garden.

"KEVIN MICHAEL" is a stunning statement of purpose from a remarkably talented young musician, a phenomenal collection that extends the long creative tradition of R&B by imagining it anew.
