Kevin O'Connor Joins UHY Advisors as Principal in New York Office

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 13, 2007 -- Kevin O'Connor has joined UHY Advisors as a principal in the firm's fast-growing Forensic, Litigation and Valuations Services (FLVS) Group. He will be based in the New York office, according to Maurice Whelan, managing director of the FLVS Group in New York.

Prior to joining UHY Advisors, O'Connor was a senior manager with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services and has a total of 15 years of experience in accounting and forensic investigations. He earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting from Saint John's University and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame, and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. A resident of Old Bridge, N.J., O'Connor was a star of the award-winning reality television show "The Amazing Race" (airs on CBS) in 2001 and appeared on the show again this year for a special "All-Stars" edition.
