Kevin Tate Joins ShopIgniter as Chief Marketing Officer

Tate Responsible for Driving ShopIgniter's Growth as a Leading Social Commerce Solutions Provider to Large Brands and Retailers

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - Nov 8, 2011) - ShopIgniter (, a provider of enterprise social commerce solutions, announced today the appointment of Kevin Tate as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Reporting to the chief executive officer (CEO), Tate will drive ShopIgniter's positioning and marketing strategy, and develop new market opportunities to expand the company's customer base.

He was previously the vice president of business development for the Dachis Group and co-founder of StepChange, where he oversaw the strategy and development of more than 250 social media experiences for leading brands and agencies. Prior to the advent of social media, Tate served as vice president of marketing for enterprise retail SaaS Unicru/Kronos and Fort Point Partners, where he assisted in the creation of some of the first integrated eCommerce Websites for such companies as JCrew, Nike and Tate holds a degree in International Relations from Stanford University.
