Kevin Wrenn, Fujitsu SVP of PC Business & Operations, Named a Top 25 Supply Chain Executive by Global Supply Chain Review

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - July 16, 2008) - Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation today announced that Kevin Wrenn, the company's senior vice president of PC Business and Operations, has been named a Top 25 Supply Chain Executive by Global Supply Chain Review. The winners of the 2008 Top 25 Supply Chain Executives Award are listed in the magazine's June issue.

According to the magazine, the award is presented to leaders who have made exceptional contributions to the Supply Chain Management industry and to Supply Chain Management within their respective organizations. The top 25 recipients were selected by the Global Supply Chain Leaders Group (GSCLG) based on member recommendations and by the GSCLG board of directors.

As noted in Global Supply Chain Review, "Mr. Wrenn has helped Fujitsu Computer Systems to become the most profitable Fujitsu company on the globe. His model of reduced energy and freight costs has earned him industry recognition and numerous invitations to speak as a subject matter expert." Added the magazine, "Mr. Wrenn's commitment to quality execution and ownership has helped Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation receive 12 Best Practice nominations by external auditor, BSI, in just two years. "

"Fujitsu has earned an industry-wide reputation for delivering products when promised," said Wrenn. "With a build-to-order direct ship model, Fujitsu successfully manages costs and gets orders filled quickly. When a customer places an order, 30 seconds later the request is in a factory in Japan getting scheduled to be built over the next two or three days. We are extremely proud that in every region of the globe, the Fujitsu brand is associated with high reliability, high performance and excellent customer service."

Wrenn has been with Fujitsu for nine years. With more than 20 years' experience in high-technology industries, he brings a strong mix of new product launch, supply chain management, quality management, and service parts logistics experience to his role.
