Kewill Appoints Chief Technology Officer & Senior Vice President of Product Development

Transportation and Logistics Management Software Provider Names Greg Carter CTO to Further Supply Chain Execution Innovation and Meet New and Future Customer Demands

CHELMSFORD, MA--(Marketwired - January 14, 2014) - Kewill, a leading global provider of multimodal transportation and logistics management solutions for continuous supply chain execution, today announced Greg Carter as the new CTO and SVP of Product Development, effective immediately. Carter will be responsible for Kewill's technology direction and product development, working closely with the executive team on strategy and management to ensure delivery of quality solutions that meet and exceed the needs of customers.

With over 25 years of experience in technology, Carter joins Kewill as a business-driven technologist with global enterprise expertise. Given his background in software design, development and implementation he brings a great depth of knowledge and experience to the organization and complements existing leadership as they strive to provide valuable solutions that ultimately drive growth for Kewill customers and the company.

"We are very excited to bring Greg on board and we're confident in his ability to accelerate our technology momentum and presence in the marketplace," said Bob Farrell, president and CEO of Kewill. "Greg's expertise and knowledge make him the best candidate for the organization and we look forward to executing the product strategy he provides as we continue to push the boundaries of technology development in the multimodal transportation and logistics management industry."

Carter joins Kewill from EDGAR-Online, Inc., an RR Donnelly company, where he was chief technology officer responsible for the company's development of cloud-based governance, risk and compliance products as well as EDGAR's legacy financial data services products. Prior to EDGAR, Greg was CTO & EVP of Product Development at Metastorm, Inc., a leading global enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) software company that was acquired by OpenText in early 2011.

"I am thrilled to be joining the team at Kewill and eager for the opportunity to dive right in and lead a group of talented and expert product engineers. My prior experience at Metastorm, deploying business process solutions for global customers, naturally intersected with multimodal transportation and I plan to leverage that knowledge in my new role," said Greg Carter, CTO & SVP of Product Development at Kewill. "I look forward to continuing the momentum generated from the recent Kewill MOVE™ platform launch and to helping our partners and customers understand the vision and strategy behind the product roadmap as well as the benefits it will bring to organizations across industries."
