kgb Launches "kgb Answers" Web Site to Let Consumers Search Vast Answer Database

Millions of kgb's Answers Searchable Online; kgb Blitzed With Quirky Football Questions After Running Super Bowl Commercial

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 17, 2010) - kgb, the company behind America's most successful premium text answer service, 542542 (kgbkgb), has launched a new Web site, kgbAnswers (, that will now enable consumers to search kgb's vast database of answers online. The web site also lets consumers explore thousands of questions that people are asking, along with the answers researched by kgb Agents, and get additional relevant information with "related questions & answers." The site will also enable users to participate in timely opinion polls, and importantly, customers can ask their own questions directly to kgb special "human" agents and get an accurate and timely answer delivered via text to their mobile phone if a search of the database doesn't return the exact answer they are seeking.

kgb launched the site in beta before the airing of its first-ever Super Bowl commercial so that users could see the type of football questions -- from the conventional to the intriguing -- that are now featured on the site. They include:

-- What is the longest play in Super Bowl history?

-- How much beer is consumed during the Super Bowl?

-- Did Michael Jackson ever perform during Super Bowl halftime?

-- How many slices of pizza are eaten during the Super Bowl?

-- How do you say "Dumb referee" in Portuguese?

"kgbAnswers has been a major effort to bring our vast database of answers researched by our trained kgb special agents for mobile customers to the Web. We wanted customers to be able to browse our database, and importantly, find kgb's millions of answers whenever they are searching for answers online. Every month our agents deliver millions of accurate answers to our customers via text on their mobile phones, and now consumers online can get these great answers when they are searching from their PCs," said Bruce Stewart, CEO of kgb Mobile and Digital. "One fascinating aspect of the site is that it can serve as a social barometer of sorts, providing insight into and a pulse about what is on people's minds by looking at the questions they ask. Often we see trends in questions that defy conventional wisdom, which is what makes them so interesting. The poll and survey features on the site are additional ways to permit visitors to interact with our content and to enrich our answers."

kgbAnswers enables users to ask a specific question by searching the database, or to browse questions by categories. Users who do not find the specific answer they need in the database have the option to ask their own question, and the answer will be researched by trained kgb Agents and delivered to their mobile phone via text for a cost of ninety-nine cents.
