Khan Resources Inc. Closes Offering of 8,150,000 Common Shares

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 1, 2007) -

Khan Resources Inc. ("Khan" or the "Corporation") (TSX:KRI) announced today that it has closed its public offering of common shares (the "Common Shares") underwritten by Haywood Securities Inc. Khan issued 8,150,000 Common Shares at a price of $3.70 per share for gross proceeds to the Corporation of $30,155,000. The net proceeds of the offering will be principally used for further exploration and development of Khan's Dornod uranium project and for general corporate purposes.

Khan is a Canadian-based exploration and development company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of uranium projects in Mongolia. The Corporation's current uranium exploration and development projects are located in the Dornod district of northeastern Mongolia. Khan's principal asset is its interest in the Dornod uranium property, the site of a former Russian open pit uranium mine. The Corporation's common shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
