Khan Resources Reports Accident Resulting in a Drilling Contractor Fatality at the Dornod Uranium Project in Mongolia

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 30, 2006) - Khan Resources Inc. (TSX:KRI) is saddened to announce that earlier today (during the afternoon in Mongolia), an accident occurred when a drill was being loaded onto a flat-bed truck at the Dornod Uranium Project in Mongolia, resulting in the death of a drilling contractor's employee.

Authorities were notified immediately and the accident is now under investigation by the relevant Mongolian authorities. Khan will be assisting authorities in the investigation of this tragedy and offers its sincerest sympathies to the family of the deceased.

The drilling program had been completed just prior to the accident.
