Khorrami Pollard & Abir, LLP, Expands Its Growing Legal Team With a New Attorney

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - February 20, 2008) - Khorrami Pollard & Abir, LLP, a law firm representing plaintiffs across the nation, has hired attorney Becki Kammerling to join its toxic tort and pharmaceutical litigation departments.

Kammerling comes to the firm with experience in tort, civil and environmental law and a history of involvement in environmental matters. She researched and drafted memoranda on the Clean Water Act, the California water law and mining contamination law. She worked on California's Renewable Portfolio standard as part of the California Public Interest Research Group, participated in negotiating Oregon's Renewable Energy Act and green building legislation, and served as director of the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference, the largest conference of its kind.

Khorrami Pollard & Abir has litigated a wide variety of environmental statutes and has successfully litigated in state and federal courts against chemical manufacturers, consumer item manufacturers and distributors, and mining and mineral-extraction interests.

Kammerling received her law degree from University of Oregon School of Law in May 2007, with an emphasis in the Environment and Natural Resources. Her background and expertise will be a great asset to the firm.
