Kia Achieves Over 20,000 Independent Reviews on kia.co.uk

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Sept. 25, 2015) - With positive comments focusing on fuel economy, looks, space and value for money over 20,000 of Kia's customers have taken to independent review site Reevoo to let everyone know what they think of their new car.

As the first motoring manufacturer to utilise Reevoo on their site in 2012, Kia have received over 20,000 independently verified Kia car reviews, with an uplift being seen in the overall score for the cars from an average of 8.7/10 in 2012 to 9.03/10 in 2015, a steady increase since it started.

With a marketing strapline of 'you make us make better cars' the focus for Kia was putting customers at the heart of all communications and by enlisting Reevoo - an independent, unfiltered, unbiased 3rd party company, Kia ensured that visitors to kia.co.uk could gain genuine peer reviews on their models.

Kim Wiggins, Digital Marketing Manager at Kia Motors UK Ltd, commented, "Research shows that 'peer-on-peer' reviews were lacking in the automotive sector and with the popularity of TripAdvisor and Amazon reviews this highlighted that online research was key for consumers before buying. The popularity of 'someone-like-me' reviews led us to utilise Reevoo to gather Kia reviews on our site from 2012."

With an average response publishing rate of 40 per cent, customers are commenting on the positives and the negatives of owning their vehicles, with Sportage being the most constantly rated model with a score of 9/10 from owners. The pro_cee'd, cee'd Sportswagon and Soul are also popular models with scores from 8.9/10 to 9.2/10.
