Kickstarter Campaign Introduces Sleek, Zero-Signal Loss Aluminum iPhone Bumper

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - Mar 5, 2014) - designed by m™, creator of the popular AL13 aluminum iPhone bumper, today launched its second Kickstarter campaign to support the release of its AL13 v2, a premium aerospace aluminum iPhone bumper with zero signal loss. The new AL13 v2 features a sleek, minimal design that offers protection without compromising the signal or aesthetics of the iPhone.

Following the success of the AL13 v1's launch, designed by m™ set out to make a few improvements based on customer feedback and achieve zero signal loss, a common disadvantage of all aluminum bumpers. The new AL13 v2, made from aerospace aluminum, weighs less than 13 grams, offering a barely-there, lightweight, yet durable design. The bumper also features an anti-scuff lining and protective film for the back. It will be available in eight colors with an anodized finish.

The first AL13 Kickstarter campaign, which completed in February 2013, funded in 48 days and resulted in more than 1,400 backers and $86,250 raised -- far above the pledged goal of $20,000. For AL13 v2, the company has set a Kickstarter goal of $25,000. The funding will allow designed by m™ to purchase the raw materials and fund the manufacturing process. With backers' support, the AL13 v2 will be brought from prototype to product and make signal loss with premium aluminum bumpers a thing of the past.
