"The Kids Are All Right," Produced in Association With Artist International, Nominated for Four Golden Globes Including Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical

BEVERLY HILLS, CA--(Marketwire - December 15, 2010) - The votes are in and the nominations have been announced: "The Kids Are All Right," produced in association with Artist International and executive produced by Steven Saxton, CEO of AI's parent company, Hollywood Studios International (PINKSHEETS: HYWS), has been nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical. The feature film, directed by Lisa Cholodenko, received four nominations overall including Cholodenko and co-writer Stuart Blumberg for Best Screenplay and two for starring actresses, Annette Bening and Julianne Moore, who are both up for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy of Musical. "It is thrilling to be part of such an extraordinary film and extremely gratifying to have everyone's contributions recognized with such prestigious honors," said Saxton.

These latest accolades come just two days after "The Kids Are All Right" picked up the most awards from the New York Film Critics Circle with a total of three consisting of best screenplay, Bening's lead performance and Mark Ruffalo's supporting role. The film, which took top honors at the Berlin International Film Festival, is also nominated for a slew of Independent Spirit Awards, as announced earlier this month. The picture garnered the second most nominations, with a total of five, picking up nods for Best Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Female lead for Bening and Best Supporting Male for Ruffalo.

The recent nominations continue an incredible year for "The Kids Are All Right," which was released by Focus Features and dubbed "the breakout hit of the summer." The comedy-drama, about a lesbian couple and their children who shake up the family by bringing their biological father into their life, grossed more than $20 million in U.S. box office revenue while racking up near unanimous praise from critics and moviegoers alike.

The Golden Globe Awards, given out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, are one of the most watched award shows in entertainment, with winners often going on to earn Oscars. "The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards" will air in a live telecast on NBC at 5 PM PST and 8 PM EST. The ceremony, one of the few awards shows that spans both television and motion picture achievement, will be seen in more than 160 countries worldwide and feature host Ricky Gervais.
