Kids Gourmet Expands to the U.S.; Launches Slammers Snack Line Nationally

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - Jun 24, 2014) - Kids Gourmet announces the launch of Slammers -- its organic, pouched, super foods snack line for active kids -- nationally across the U.S. in over 2,300 Target, Safeway and HEB stores. Slammers eye catching, convenient pouch packaging, nutritious super food ingredients and delicious taste, disrupts the fruit cup/apple sauce category, with much needed innovation. Slammers gives mom a "guilt free" solution and kids access to healthy snacks without pausing the fun.

Kids Gourmet began rolling out its Slammers line in March 2014, completing the first phase of its US National launch through June. Slammers has enjoyed steady sales increases week over week including a 50% sales increase, over the last four weeks.

AWESOME - organic bananas, blueberries, strawberries, beets, acai, amaranth (a highly nutritious gluten-free grain)
CHILL'N - organic bananas, blueberries, butternut squash, Greek yogurt & yumberry (a new super fruit full of antioxidants)
PUMPED - organic bananas, pineapple, mangos, ancient grains, butternut squash, cinnamon
