SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - Mar 26, 2013) - Kilopass Technology Inc. (www.kilopass.com), a leading provider of semiconductor logic non-volatile memory (NVM) intellectual property (IP), announced today the appointment of Tatsuya Yamazaki as Vice President of Business Development Asia-Pacific to accelerate international expansion. Yamazaki-san brings to his new post 30 years of semiconductor and electronics industry experience at major international powerhouses Fujitsu and Samsung. He started his career at Fujitsu in process technology and device physics and eventually became the VP & GM of Worldwide ASIC and Foundry business. At Samsung, he was a VP for Marketing focusing in the Japan region. He has started at Kilopass and will be located in Japan.

"I am thrilled to have attracted such a world-class business and operational talent as Yamazaki-san," said Charlie Cheng, president and CEO of Kilopass Technology Inc. Tatsuya Yamazaki began his career as a process control and device physics engineer with Fujitsu, Ltd. Fujitsu recognized that his engineering prowess was matched equally by his organizational and management expertise and selected him as General Manager of Foundry Marketing. From there, he was appointed Director of FRAM Development, and eventually General Manager of the Foundry and ASIC Marketing Division, Electronic Devices Business Group. He left Fujitsu in 2009 to become Vice President of Marketing for Samsung Electronics.

"I am excited to help drive Kilopass growth internationally," said Yamazaki-san. "At a time when few semiconductor companies are willing to experiment, Kilopass breaks new grounds on several dimensions, not just in business and product strategy, but even in its view of globalization.
