Kimberly Getgen Joins Blue Pillar as Vice President of Marketing

Established Veteran With Track Record for Driving Award-Winning Marketing Strategies for Smart Energy, Cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT) Companies Joins Blue Pillar Executive Team

FREDERICK, MD--(Marketwired - June 10, 2015) - Blue Pillar, Inc., a leading provider of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) connectivity and centralized energy management software solutions that allows facilities to become more energy resilient, self-sufficient and energy efficient, today announced that Kimberly Getgen has joined the company to lead its marketing efforts. In this role, Ms. Getgen will report to Blue Pillar's CEO Tom Willie and be responsible for the strategic positioning of Blue Pillar in the energy industry while providing executive leadership for all marketing activities worldwide including inbound, outbound and channel marketing, partner readiness, product marketing and public relations.

As a result, in 2014, she was recognized as "Maverick of the Year" by the Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. Before joining Tollgrade, Kim was director of product marketing at Echelon Corporation, where she developed a product and partner readiness process that helped to significantly increase revenue and market share during her tenure. Prior to Echelon, Kim worked in the cybersecurity market for nearly 15 years where she served as vice president of marketing for a number of companies including Reconnex, a venture-backed start-up she co-founded, which was later acquired by McAfee.
