Kinder Morgan Schedules Mid-November Launch of Florida Ethanol Pipeline, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - October 21, 2008) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP (NYSE:KMP) (Houston, Texas) and subsidiary Central Florida Pipeline Corporation (Tampa, Florida) have completed testing of a $60 million, 195-mile, 16-inch-diameter pipeline that will be used to transport denatured ethanol between distribution terminals in Tampa and Orlando, Florida. The project tests demonstrated the commercial feasibility of transporting ethanol via pipeline compared with the traditional transportation methods of truck, rail and barge transport.
