Kinetitec Gives Presentation at STLE 2006, Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers

SPOKANE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 9, 2006 -- Kinetitec Corporation, a private company offering friction reduction solutions, announces that Jane E. Buehler, Chief Technology Officer, gave a presentation titled, "Innovative Surface Treatment to Reduce Friction on Gears" at the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) annual meeting in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on May 8, 2006. Kay Dean Bowles, Research and Development Manager, and Wade Bowles, Operations Manager, are the co-authors of the presentation.

In her presentation, Jane E. Buehler reported the test results of the Company's Induratec™ surface treatment on a gear box. The test results showed an average of 90% improvement in wear, a 10% improvement in efficiency, and an 8% decrease in temperature. It was concluded that Induratec™ treated gear provides gear performance with higher efficiency, lower operating temperature, and extended gear wear without changing the oil type.
