King & Spalding Adds Henry G. Burnett and James E. Berger in New York

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Jun 26, 2012) - Continuing the expansion of its global disputes practice, King & Spalding has added partners Henry G. ("Harry") Burnett and James E. Berger in its New York office.

Burnett joins King & Spalding from Crowell & Moring LLP, where he was a partner and head of its international dispute resolution group and Latin America practice. His practice covers international arbitration as well as business litigation in federal and state courts.

Burnett said, "King & Spalding has one of the top international arbitration practices in the world. I look forward to working with the firm's outstanding lawyers."

Berger joins from Paul Hastings LLP, where he served as counsel in the litigation department, focusing on complex cross-border litigation, including enforcement proceedings and court actions in aid of international arbitration.

Berger said, "This is an excellent opportunity for me to grow a broader practice from King & Spalding's impressive global disputes platform."

"Harry and James are both talented lawyers of the very highest quality and character. We are pleased that they have joined us and expect to grow further," said Edward G. Kehoe, co-head of King & Spalding's international arbitration practice. "They follow six other top global disputes partners that the firm has added over approximately the past two years: Guillermo Aguilar-Alvarez (New York), Jane Player (London), John Savage (Singapore), Jan Schaefer (Frankfurt), Tom Sprange (London) and Sarah Walker (London)."
